The State Bank of India Probationary Officer (SBI PO) exam is one of the most prestigious banking exams in India. SBI conducts this exam annually to recruit candidates for the post of PO in various branches across India. The selection process comprises Preliminary Exam, Main Exam (Objective + Descriptive), Psychometric Test, Group Discussion, and Interview. Candidates must qualify at each stage to be shortlisted. SBI PO 2025 Selection Process
The SBI PO selection is a three-phase process followed by a final merit list:
- Preliminary Examination (Online)
- Main Examination (Objective + Descriptive Test)
- Psychometric Test, Group Discussion, and Interview
Final selection is based on performance in the Mains (Phase II) and Interview (Phase III). Marks from the Preliminary exam are not considered for the final merit list.
