IBPS RRB PO Selection Process 2025
The selection process for IBPS RRB Officer Scale-I consists of three stages:
1. Preliminary Examination
- Qualifying in nature
- Scores not considered for final merit
2. Main Examination
- Marks obtained are considered for final merit
- Candidates shortlisted for interview based on mains score
3. Interview
- Conducted by participating banks and coordinated by the Nodal Regional Rural Banks in each state
- Weightage: Mains (80%) + Interview (20%)

Nationality
- Must be a citizen of India
- Subjects of Nepal, Bhutan, Tibetan refugees, or Indian origin from select countries may also apply (conditions apply)
Age Limit (As on 01.06.2025)
- Minimum: 18 years
- Maximum: 30 years
- Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST – 5 years
- OBC – 3 years
- PwD – 10 years
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university
- Working knowledge of computers is desirable
- Proficiency in the local language of the RRB’s region is mandatory
