UPTET 2025 Exam Pattern & Syllabus Overview
The Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) is conducted by the UP Basic Education Board / Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) to certify candidates for teaching posts in primary (Class 1-5) and upper primary (Class 6-8) levels. The exam is held in two shifts– Paper 1 for primary and Paper 2 for upper primary level teachers. Candidates aspiring for both levels can appear in both papers.
✅ UPTET 2025 Selection Process
The selection process consists of a single-stage written examination:
- Paper 1: For classes 1–5 (Primary Teachers)
- Paper 2: For classes 6–8 (Upper Primary Teachers)
