JEE Advanced Exam Pattern & Syllabus for IIT

JEE Advanced 2025: Admission to IITs via NTA & IIT Council

JEE Advanced 2025 is the second stage of India’s most prestigious engineering entrance exam, conducted for admission into the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). Only the top 2.5 lakh qualifiers of JEE Mains 2025 are eligible to appear for JEE Advanced. The exam is conducted by one of the IITs on a rotational basis under the guidance of the Joint Admission Board (JAB).

JEE Advanced consists of two compulsory papers (Paper 1 & Paper 2), each testing the applicant’s analytical ability across Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Unlike JEE Mains, question types, number of questions, and marking scheme may vary every year, making it a true test of concept clarity and problem-solving skills.
