What Is NMMS?

    2. Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) – covers Science, Math, and Social Studies based on NCERT Class VII & VIII syllabus.

    • General category: Minimum 40% aggregate in both tests.

Renewal Criteria

To continue receiving NMMS funds through Class XII:

  • Pass Class IX (at least 55% for General, 50% for SC/ST)
  • Score at least 60% in Class X (55% for SC/ST)
  • Must secure first-attempt promotion in Class XI to Class XII

Scholarship Disbursement

NMMS funds are disbursed via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) into the student’s bank account—preferably with SBI or another public/scheduled bank. Disbursement is managed through the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) and Public Financial Management System (PFMS).
