1. Officer Scale I (Assistant Manager)

Eligibility Criteria Details
Age Limit 18 to 30 years (as on 01.06.2025)
Educational Qualification Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Proficiency in the local language of the participating RRB is required.

2. Officer Scale II (Manager)

IBPS RRB Officer Scale II has two categories — General Banking Officer (GBO) and Specialist Officers (SO).

a) General Banking Officer (GBO)

Eligibility Criteria Details
Age Limit 21 to 32 years (as on 01.06.2025)
Educational Qualification Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks. Preference given to degrees in Banking, Finance, Marketing, Agriculture, etc.
Experience Minimum 2 years in a bank or financial institution

b) Specialist Officers (SO)

Specialist Post Educational Qualification Experience
IT Officer Degree in Electronics / Communication / Computer Science / IT 1 year in relevant field
CA Certified Associate (CA) from ICAI 1 year
Law Officer Degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university 2 years as advocate or law officer
Treasury Manager CA or MBA in Finance 1 year
Marketing Officer MBA in Marketing 1 year
Agricultural Officer Degree in Agriculture / Horticulture / Animal Husbandry / etc. 2 years

All Scale II posts require proficiency in the local language of the RRB.


3. Officer Scale III (Senior Manager)

Age Limit 21 to 40 years (as on 01.06.2025)
Educational Qualification Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks. Preference for degrees in Finance, Marketing, Agriculture, etc.
Experience Minimum 5 years in banking or financial institutions

4. Office Assistant (Multipurpose)
